Abstract:

Abstract Introduction: Bile duct injury is a severe and potentially life-threatening complication of laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Several series have described incidence 0.1%-0. 5% incidence of Bile Duct Iinjury (BDI) during laparoscopic cholecystectomy, bile leak 0.3% – 0.5% (85% from cystic duct). We performed three routine anatomic landmarks, rouviere’s sulcus, Cystic node of lund and Critical View of Savety (CVS) encountered during LC (Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy) that assist in safe dissection that prevents bile duct and vascular injury. We believe, on the basis of our experience, that if we adhere to these landmarks, excellent results can be achieved. Design : A retrospectif review of LC-BDI during january 2014-january 2016 Result: A total of 187 following laparoscopic cholecystectomy during january 2014-january 2016. Cholecystitis at 121 patient (65%). No incidence of Bile duct injury (BDI) Conclusion: Three routine anatomic landmarks, rouviere’s sulcus,Cystic node of lund and Critical View of Savety prevents bile duct and vascular injury during LC are the cornerstones for excellent results can be achieved. Keywords: laparoscopy Cholesistectomy , Three routine landmark, bile duct injury
